²until the day he was taken up to heaven,^(A) after giving instructions^(B) through the Holy Spirit to the apostles^(C) he had chosen.^(D)

²⁶And they ^[a]^(A)drew lots for them, and the lot fell ^[b]to ^(B)Matthias; and he was added to ^(C)the eleven apostles.

²⁶Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.^(A)
