HARARITE hâr’ ə rīt (הַֽהֲרָרִ֔י or הָארָרִֽי). An epithet applied to two of David’s heroes, members of the Mighty Men known as the “Thirty” (2 Sam 23:11, 33; 1 Chron 11:34— where “Shagee” should prob. be “Shammah”), and Ahiam, the son of Sharar the Ararite (2 Sam 23:33, ASV ARARITE; KJV HARARITE; 1 Chron 11:35).
